Radio 1190's music philosophy is simple: We
play great music that doesn't get heard on the vapidly safe FM
giants. Our dedicated music staff searches out the best bands you
probably haven't heard yet. Any genre is possible and our low-key,
honest DJs mix many different styles together. From the electronic
sounds of Boards of Canada, the quirky pop of Destroyer, the
electro-punk sounds of Melt Banana, and the softer sounds of Low,
Radio 1190 plays it all.
